I joined Downland Vets back in 2015 and I qualified as a veterinary surgeon at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (UCM) in 2006. I started as an Equine Vet and I did a 2 year internship at the hospital of the University, I found it hard at times, as we had to drive a lot and be outdoors all day in all weathers, which is when I realised I preferred working with small animals. When I started working with small animals I could see immediately how much I loved it! In 2012 I registered at the UK RCVS and relocated from Spain to East Sussex. I love internal medicine and ultrasonography the most, I really enjoy helping animals this way. In my spare time I love spending quality time with my husband Victor, my cats and my friends. I also find cooking and baking very relaxing and sharing my food with friends who are always willing to try my cooking creations!
