I joined Downlands in February 2019 and I qualified as a RVN in 2003. Since qualifying I taught Veterinary Nursing at Plumpton College for a while, but I missed my hands-on nursing so I chose to come back into vet nursing. I now enjoy being a clinical coach within practice and helping student nurses train for their Veterinary Nurse qualification. My passions at work are nurses' clinics, I enjoy the client bonds formed when seeing and helping their pets on a regular basis. I also have a qualification in dog and cat behaviour which gives me great pleasure in being able to help animals and owners. In my spare time I enjoy most things crafty, and on a nice sunny day, I do love to garden.
