I qualified from the University of Pretoria in South Africa in 2006. I came to the UK in 2010 and have been based in Hampshire ever since. I started working at Downlands in 2013 as a locum, and joined the permanent staff in 2016 working across all of the clinics. I enjoy the variety of general practice, particularly surgical cases.

I love the outdoors and in my spare time may be found on a kayak on the Solent, hiking or cycling with my husband.

I joined DVG in 2011 shortly after qualifying at Bristol Vet School. My time is mainly spent at the Chichester branch where I enjoy all aspects of veterinary medicine and surgery, especially getting to know our clients and their pets. I adopted my fluffy black cat ‘Bella’ in 2013 and hope to one day find time for a canine rescue too.

Based: Chichester clinic
Prior to working at Downland Veterinary Group I worked for Hearing Dogs for the deaf for five years as a Dog Welfare Officer. After making the decision to move closer to family I moved to Chichester and joined DVG as a receptionist in May 2012. I really enjoy the job, meeting the clients and their pets. In my spare time I am kept busy looking after my daughter and my Border Terrier, Charlie.

I have been working in administration/reception roles for the past eight years. When a position became available at DVG I jumped at the chance because I have a real passion for animals. I am the proud owner of two cats and two dogs, as you can imagine our house is turning into a bit of a zoo!
