I qualified from the University of Pretoria in South Africa in 2006. I came to the UK in 2010 and have been based in Hampshire ever since. I started working at Downlands in 2013 as a locum, and joined the permanent staff in 2016 working across all of the clinics. I enjoy the variety of general practice, particularly surgical cases.

I love the outdoors and in my spare time may be found on a kayak on the Solent, hiking or cycling with my husband.

MARIELLA MILLER

I joined DVG in 2011 shortly after qualifying at Bristol Vet School. My time is mainly spent at the Chichester branch where I enjoy all aspects of veterinary medicine and surgery, especially getting to know our clients and their pets. I adopted my fluffy black cat ‘Bella’ in 2013 and hope to one day find time for a canine rescue too.

I joined DVG Bognor in 2001 as a Trainee Nurse and qualified as a Registered Nurse in 2006. I have been Deputy Nurse in 2007.

I enjoy all aspects of my job, especially medicine and imaging. I am very lucky to work with such a dedicated and hard working team.

At home I have a lovely, large, handsome cat called Kevin who I rescued when he came in as a poorly kitten. I also look after my two guinea pigs, Ethel and Cedric.

I joined DVG in 2009 as a kennel assistant and always wanted to be a veterinary nurse. I started my veterinary nurse training in 2013 and qualified in 2015. My main interests are anything to do with cats! I have 2 cats called Rommel and Inca, Rommel even has his own Instagram page! (rommelthecat if you would like to follow him!)

Since qualifying in 2001, I worked in a referral hospital in London before becoming Head Nurse at Downlands in 2005.

I am a clinical coach and provide support and training for our student nurses and also work closely with my team of qualified nurses so that we can all provide the best care we can for our client’s and their pets.

I originally worked in equine practice for 8 years and qualified as an equine nurse in 2010, I enjoyed training and wanted to further my career by training as a small animal nurse.I started at Downlands in 2012 and they gave me the chance to train again where I qualified in July 2015.

My main interests are intensive care nursing and nursing the small furries

I joined in DVG in 2011. I have a bachelor’s degree in veterinary nursing from the Royal Veterinary College. I recently became a Pet Health Councillor and help run the weight clinics and provide advice where I can. I also run the puppy parties here at Bognor, which is the favourite part of my job. I also have a keen interest in diagnostic services and lab work.
