Robyn Hibberd

Robyn has worked in small animal practice for 7 years and started her veterinary nursing journey as an animal care assistant in a busy 24 hour hospital in 2015. From here she developed a keen interest in medical nursing and in-patient care, particularly in feline patients and also developed a passion for radiography and wound management.

She went on to complete her diploma in small animal veterinary nursing at MYF training in Aldershot and qualified as a registered veterinary nurse (RVN) in 2019. She then joined our team at DVG Bognor in 2020.

Since qualifying, her love and passion for our feline friends hasn't stopped and in Febuary 2022 she completed her certificate in feline nursing with international society of feline medicine (ISFM) and achieved distinction. She is our cat queen and makes it her ultimate goal to make all our feline patients as safe, happy and comfortable as possible during their stay, paying particular attention to their unique behavioural needs. She has also completed her 'hypertension ambassador' certificate, allowing her to take accurate feline friendly blood pressures and can assist the vets in interpreting these results.

Robyn also really enjoys anaesthesia, working alongside our vet team in theatre, providing nurse clinics and nursing wildlife especially birds!

Outside of work Robyn loves hiking the Southdowns with a friends dog and enjoys lots of sofa cuddles with her cat Olly and spending time with friends and family.
