Philip Du Plessis

Phil grew up in the small town of Fort Beaufort in the Eastern Cape , South Africa. After obtaining his BVSc degree in veterinary medicine form the University Of Pretoria in 2004 he joined a small animal practice in Beacon Bay,East London, South Africa for three and half years before relocating to the United Kingdom in 2008.

In 2016 Philip joined Downland Veterinary Group and has since been part of our the dynamic team at the Denmead surgery where he enjoys soft tissue surgery and the day to day challenges of small animal medicine and primary veterinary care.

Outside of work Philip enjoy spending time with his wife and two daughters. He is a keen amateur photographer and aviation geek that enjoys plane spotting and attending airshows.
