Many thanks to everyone who attended our Open Day on Saturday 25 June.  It was an epic success, and exceeded our expectations - we served 700 burgers to over 500 people!!

If you did come along we hope you had a good opportunity to look around, we appreciate it was busy though, so if you'd like to pop along and have a bit more time to meet the staff and have a look around please either call in or give us a call to arrange a convenient time.

The clinic is now open and we were almost fully booked on our first full day, Monday 27 June.  If you haven't already done so, please follow this link to register at Denmead or call us on 023 9223 2121.

Please find our updated gallary below, we now have photos of the finished clinic for you to take a look at....

Our new clinic still looks like a building site!!!  However, we are almost finished after a mad week of trying to get everything finished in time for the Open Day tomorrow.

As I type, there must be about 30 contractors in the clinic busily finishing off all the work, our fantastic project manager, Gary Deal, assures us it will all be sorted though, so we remain calm and wait till we can start scrubbing and cleaning the clinic from top to bottom to prepare for tomorrow.

The Open Day should be fab!  We have booked a Dalmatian Bouncy Castle, face painting, free BBQ and drinks to help everyone celebrate the opening, which will be performed by the Deputy Mayor of Winchester.  In addition, everyone visiting will have the opportunity to take a tour of the clinic and meet the staff, plus we have a special guest, Chewy the Dog!

Of course we hope everyone will enjoy the Open Day, but it's important for us to remind everyone that the clinic will also be open for appointments from Monday 27 June 2011.  We have already had lots of clients pre-register using our on line form, however, we welcome you to come along to the clinic from Monday, have a look around and register with us.

Clients that have pre-registered their interest in Denmead have all received a voucher pack with some special offers - it's not too late to register your interest if you haven't already...  click here to register and receive your welcome offers.

Look forward to seeing you all soon...

Exciting times at our Denmead building site - firstly, we have confirmed the date for our OPEN DAY, it will be on Saturday, 25 June 2011, 1-4pm.  The clinic will be open for appointments from Monday 27 June!  The 'Dalmatian Bouncy Castle' has been booked, the balloons are on order, the BBQ will be there, the big question left now is do we go for Pimms or Champagne?  ....or BOTH!!

With less than 10 days until our Open Day, it's all hands on deck to get everything up and running.  With the plastering finished and most of the paint work complete, it is all taking shape.  The flooring goes down today, and will be a far cry from the rubble that was everywhere just a few months ago.  All the plumbing is in, with running water on tap, and the fitters are finishing the piped gas supply to all the clinical areas.  The builders are going to work through the weekend so that next week we can start getting the consulting rooms and the prep-room stocked ready for work on Monday 27 June.

All of our staff who will be working in the clinic have started with us (at our Emsworth clinic for now)...  More news about our staff to follow!  And yes, the builders are confident we will be ready for the Open Day (just a reminder - it's 25 June, we hope to see you there!).

More news to follow soon...

Remember to keep checking back for more progress and register here to get updates, news of our opening date and an invite to our open day.

Exciting times at our Denmead building site - firstly, we have confirmed the date for our OPEN DAY, it will be on Saturday, 25 June 2011, 1-4pm.  The clinic will be open for appointments from Monday 27 June!  The 'Dalmatian Bouncy Castle' has been booked, the balloons are on order, the BBQ or Hog Roast will be there, the big question left now is do we go for Pimms or Champagne?  ....or BOTH!!

In addition, the walls are finally starting to go up inside, which means we have finally been able to start getting a feel of what it will be like inside - we have all been impressed by how large and spacious the consulting rooms are and look forward to showing you round.

Over the past few weeks the builders have got the underfloor heating installed, the floor levelled, our electricity supply was finally connected (thank you British Gas, at last!!), most of the equipment to be installed in the clinic has been ordered and most importantly, the majority of our staff who will be working in the clinic have started with us (at our Emsworth clinic for now)...  More news about our staff to follow!  And yes, the builders are confident we will be ready for the Open Day (just a reminder - it's 25 June, we hope to see you there!).

Wow!  Our new clinic is definitely looking like a building site at the moment, as the photos below will testify.  Unfortunately, we experienced our first vandalism incident recently, we had a few of our windows smashed and the builders safety fencing was pulled down, at least it happened when no one was at the site, but it left us all feeling a little sad.  As for the building work...  the flooring has been dug out, the ceilings have been exposed, some brick work has gone up and their is now no ceiling/floor under/over the offices.

In addition, we have also spent a lot of time sourcing fittings and equipment for the clinic...  we have a big shopping list and have a meeting planned this week to start finalising and placing orders for a lot of the diagnostic equipment, including state-of-the-art digital x-ray and ultrasound.

The builders are still confident that we will be ready for our planned June opening.
